The silence was interrupted with a thunderous organ chord, and all heads turned to see the doors open. The crowd stood up to honor the young woman and her father as they proudly entered the Church. After they arrived at the foot of the altar the pastor said "Who gives this woman away? "I do" said the father. With a wet-eyed smile the young lady takes the arm of her groom. The moment both magical and profound.

And the ceremony continued with hearfelt oaths and whispered prayers.
The two candles burned as one.
